have stayed many times. being on the second floor, large room, good bed, big bathroom, good big HD TV and channels. Car parking and free mini bus to the tube station.next to brent cross shopping centre and bus station. Chatty reception staff, chambermaid and mini bus driver. I was allowed to check in at 130 pm, which was good. Good double bed, mattress, duvet, sofa, desk, shower and bath, door lock, lots of power points for my three mobiles and road angel. Good coffee and tea making facilities, no biscuits though. Good breakfast, efficent waiters and waitresses.
Lights took a while to come in ground floor mens toilet and went off while I was in a cubcle and left in the dark. I used my mobile light to find door lock. The hotel pnone number was an 0870 premium rate, we used to get a cheaper 020 8 number to call for the mini bus. When I came back on Wednesday 13 July 2011 about 5pm I called the reception where a bright gent said the mini bus was on its way and be there in ten minutes. After 20 minutes it did not arrive so I got the the tfl 210 bus back which stopped 100 yards from the hotel. Then the mini bus came back. The rate was a bit high. Noisy air conditioning. There was a load of schoolgirls from Leicester according to the coach outside and reception, who clogged up the resataurant, lift lobbies and made noise on the second floor at night when I was trying to sleep.
It was a nice clean comfortable stay.
Lots of guests were complaining about service etc.
Ideal location for Wembley with good bus networks. Staff helpful when approached. Breakfast acceptable and well serviced Would stay again.
Well situated for Wembley with direct bus route.
Staff were not very friendly with the exception of the receptionist. Food slow. Need to learn some customer service skills!
The room I was given was on the first floor, it was dirty. Bathroom was dirty, hair on the tub and on the floor. Room was also noisy The restaurant food was crap. Looks like they use tinned ingredients. Food uncooked. Prices expensive. They advertise as if they use fresh ingredients.
the staff were execellent. location good, breakfast excellent.
It is a pity that an otherwise excellent stay was ruined by the quatity of the mattresses. The beds were like boards and it is for this reason only that I will not be using this hotel chain again. Having done a straw poll amongst friends and acquaintances I find that this experience is not uncommon - the preferred chain is Premier Inn. A good nights sleep is vital if one is to enjoy the following day. I gather that an adequate mattress should be about 9 inches deep. From what I remember of that uncomfortable night the mattress in the room fell far short of that depth.
too few staff at reception, alot of waiting to speak to staff. asked for food from 24hour menu and was told they would call us back in 2mins for order . 20mins later we called back and was told there was only cheese sandwiches. Very dissapointed with the service we recieved.
Comfortable hotel, very friendly staff. Excellent location at end of the M1 to park and close to Brent Cross tube (good free shuttle bus from hotel to tube station and return).
We visited the Holiday Inn Brent Cross, as we needed to be near Wembley for the Champions League Match. My husband and son went to the match, my daughter and I went shopping. We only stayed one night. It was ideal for what we needed it for. Rooms were clean and suitable for our needs. Breakfast was good, the cooked breakfast choices were suffice. For a Wembley gig I would use hotel again.
The comfort of the room and the facilities available.
The excessive charges for internet access
Hotel Room is clean, parking is very convenient.
We asked for the dressing table light to be changed on Friday 12/11/2010 evening, the lamp did not change until we checked out Monday 15/11/2010 because no service Saturday and Sunday!!! It is not the guest problem. The Girl at the reception Sunday noon time and Monday noon time need to put some Smile on her face and to be friendly.
The staff were great and very helpful and the complimentary shuttle to the station was great
The guy on reception was professional, friendly and helpful. All credit to him.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the rooms were clean and well kept and the hotel bar was a lovely place to sit for a few hours (as I don't know the area very well, I didn't fancy venturing outside the hotel). Also there was loads of parking.
The bar was quite expensive but no more so than the rest of london.
Very comfortable and spacious room and Bed. Many thanks to the staff
Paying for parking! Bathroom badly needs updating. We could hardly turn the shower fitment on and despite keeping shower curtains inside bath the floor still got quite wet. Breakfast too expensive-we went to brent Cross !
